Aishwarya R, Kailash Patil, Manjunathan S, Navaneeth Kumar G R and Babita Kumari,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.10116.]

This project presents a simulation and modelling of different solar pv array configuration to extract maximum power under partial shading condition. It is possible that shadow may fall over some of the cells of solar photovoltaic array. This results partial shading conditions due to which PV characteristics gets more complex with multiple peaks. The purpose of project is to illustrate by analysing different shading situations, the effect the partial shading can cause in a PV array. First this is done by simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK, then the impact of shading is illustrated experimentally.

MAO Zhengjie, MIAO Lidong MA Xin WANG Xinqiang and HAN Chengmin;[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.11732]

Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and poor safety of traditional heating methods (such as hot-air gun) in vehicle body maintenance, the electromagnetic induction heating system for vehicle body maintenance is studied, and an electromagnetic induction heating device is designed and manufactured. First of all, the working mode of the half-bridge resonant inverter circuit in the induction heating system is analyzed, and the change law of the load current circuit is obtained. The simulation model of the induction heating system is established using MATLAB /Simulink software, and the current characteristics of the system load are simulated. Then, according to the characteristics of the system, the hardware of the induction heating system is designed, and the experimental platform of the electromagnetic induction heating system is built for experiment. The results show that the simulation results of the current loop characteristics in the induction heating system are consistent with the experimental results, which verifies the effectiveness of the developed induction heating device.

Review of Research on the Setting of Guide Signs for Interchanges in Expressway Hubs

Yan Xingkui and Zhang Hongbin,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.13339.]

In the path-finding activities, people need to rely on two environmental designs, one is the environment itself - the sight towards the destination, the reference object to help maintain the correct direction, and the intuitive judgment of the exit location. The second is signs, guide signs, markings and other auxiliary tools, which complement and explain the environment itself as a positive factor. The closed characteristics of expressway and the complex and three-dimensional development of road network make the driving environment of the highway itself not distinctive, the visual accessibility is low, the spatial information is difficult to obtain from a macro perspective, and it is easy to get lost, so it is very dependent on guidance facilities such as guide signs, maps, navigation, etc. Give full play to the management and service functions of road traffic signs and markings, so as to prevent and reduce traffic accidents, ensure driving safety, and make road users feel comfortable and happy. Summarize the research on the setting of the guide signs of the expressway hub interchange, and clarify its development context and current research direction.

Huanchao Feng, Jinglei Zhang, Kaili Wang, Min Zhang and Anmengdie Li;[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.14048.]

In recent years, the number of cars has increased sharply and traffic safety accidents have occurred frequently. The driver is the main factor leading to road traffic accidents, and the dangerous driving behavior of the driver is mainly affected by the traffic environment and the driver's individual emotions. So through the collection of face data on the simulated driver. The driver's face is detected and the facial expression is collected by using the Dilb algorithm, and the facial data is preprocessed by gray processing and other data. The expression data set is established by analyzing the data. Use convolution neural network and improve it according to its shortcomings to build a suitable convolution neural network model. The improved convolutional neural network model is trained with part of the data set, and the facial expression data features of the whole data set are extracted through the trained model, and the dangerous driving behaviors of drivers are effectively recognized with the good model. It can provide effective help to improve the safety of drivers.

A novel biquadratic circuit employing positive current output CCs

Takao Tsukutani,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.15361.]

This paper presents a novel biquadratic circuit using only positive current output current conveyors (CCs) and grounded passive components. The circuit enables low-pass (LP), band-pass (BP), high-pass (HP), band-stop (BS) and all-pass (AP) responses by the selection and addition of the input and output currents without any component matching constraints. Moreover, the circuit parameters ω0 and Q can be set orthogonally by adjusting the circuit components. The biquadratic circuit enjoys very low sensitivities with respect to the circuit components. The achievement examples are given together with simulation results by PSPICE.

LILu, SUNZaoyue and GUO Chunlin,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.16274.]

The control system of direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous motor will be affected by the interference of some external unstable factors during its operation. The ability to resist external interference, the response speed and the ability to suppress chattering are all important indicators to measure the performance of the motor control system. In order to improve the response speed of the system, the ability to suppress chattering and the ability to resist external interference, this chapter will adopt the sliding mode vector control strategy, combine the new variable exponential sliding mode approach law with non-singular fast terminal sliding mode, and design a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode controller, and prove its stability using Lyapunov stability principle. Aiming at the external disturbance of the motor, a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode load disturbance observer is designed to further improve the robustness of the system.

Renee C. Tan and Consorcio S. Namoco Jr. ;[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.20421.]

The study focused on the technical and economic evaluation of the motorized hydraulic presser which is anchored on the design and development of the motorized hydraulic presser. The extent of its viability, when subjected to business entrepreneurship, will give a positive horizon to the farmer cooperatives involved in the production of VCO in the Caraga region. In the conduct of evaluation on the motorized presser, a series of experiments on extracting milk from grated coconut meat varying the amount of pressing force, the weight of coconut grated meat, and the pressing cycle (pressing time is constant) were done. The amount of coconut meat extracted (in liters) was then measured. The baseline research on cost-benefit analysis is taken from relevant sources which serve as a benchmark to reckon during the study. Based on the test results, the amount of coconut milk extracted was higher at a pressing force of 1500 psi in 12 pressing cycles with a maximum of 3 kg weight of coconut meat. The capital investment cost of the project is PhP1,010,000.00 which includes the land acquisition, building, machinery and equipment, preliminary and other operating expenses, and the details of plant machinery and equipment amounting to PhP150,400.00 and the cost of goods is PHP277,771.00 within 5 years is feasible.

Tinglu Tian, Xiaozhong Ma and Chao Wang,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.12.2.23041.]

In order to analyze the law of the influence of EXV on the performance of the heat pump air-conditioning system, the R134a pure electric vehicle heat pump air-conditioning heating system was taken as the research object, and the simulation model of the heating system was built based on the AMESim simulation platform. Comparative analysis of internal temperature rise, and analysis of the influence of EXV opening on compressor inhalation and discharge pressure, temperature, system heating capacity, and COP. The simulation results show that: compared with the traditional TXV air-conditioning system, the use of EXV can make the air-conditioning system achieve better operating results, and in low temperature environments, EXV has better adjustment capabilities; its opening is regulated by the PID control system, sensitive response, stable transient process. The research results provide a reference for the regulation of the performance of the pure electric vehicle heat pump air conditioning system and the formulation of control strategies
